Students in the Summer Youth Theater Institute at Western Washington University will be performing in "The Jungle Book" Aug. 5, 6 and 7 in a restaging of the hit production from May.

The Summer Youth Theatre Institute, now in its sixth year, is a fun program for all ages that provides an opportunity for local community youth to collaborate with their peers, learn from WWU Drama in Education students, and then perform live on stage.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, and Saturday, Aug. 6, with a 2 p.m. performance set for Sunday, Aug. 7. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students. For tickets, contact the WWU Box Office at (360) 650-6146 or visit http://www.tickets.wwu.edu/.
