WWU's Joe Garcia facilitates SACNAS summer institute in Washington, D.C.

Joe Garcia, Bowman Distinguished Professor of Leadership Studies and the director of the Karen W. Morse Institute for Leadership, was in Washington, D.C. for the week of July 16^th  as lead facilitator for the 2012 SACNAS Summer Leadership Institute.  The institute is co-sponsored by AAAS and SACNAS and funded by NIH.  The purpose is to develop leadership among minority scientists with the aim of developing pathways for more Americans in the Sciences. Additional information and photos can be found at: http://sacnas.org/news/2012-summer-leadership-institute-report.
