WWU to Host Annual Internship and Volunteer Fair May 6

Students and graduates looking for internships and volunteer opportunities are invited to participate in Western Washington University’s Virtual Volunteer and Internship Fair taking place from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 6.

Individuals will have the opportunity to connect directly with  non-profits and government agencies to meet representatives from organizations actively promoting remote/hybrid/in-person opportunities.   This free event is being hosted on Zoom (get connection info here), and organizations will either host their own virtual meeting room or participate in a designated virtual breakout room hosted by the Career Services Center.

Participating in an internship or volunteering provides  valuable direct experience for students and alumni of all majors to explore career possibilities with many diverse organizations, utilize classroom knowledge, build resume experience and networking connections.

To plan ahead, participants should ensure they have access to the latest version of Zoom, research participating organizations in advance about opportunities and be prepared to discuss their interests and qualifications.  For information about how to access the fair, the format and an ongoing list of participating organizations, please visit the event page at  https://www.wwu.edu/careers/internshipfair2021.shtml
