WWU to host AmeriCorps/Peace Corps Panel Discussion

Western Washington University’s Career Services Center is hosting a panel discussion for students, graduates and community members interested in exploring exciting opportunities with AmeriCorps and/or the Peace Corps.

AmeriCorps is one of the largest employers of recent college graduates from WWU.  Additionally, Western graduates have a long tradition of serving as Peace Corps Volunteers all over the world -- Western is one of the top-ranked medium-sized schools for the number of alumni serving in the Peace Corps.

Whatever your major is, either one of these opportunities would be great to consider. Students, if you are looking for meaningful work after you graduate, you will not want to miss this informational event!

The AmeriCorps/Peace Corps Panel Presentation will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 4 – 6:30 p.m., in Viking Union Room 552

4-5 p.m. – AmeriCorps Members talk about their experiences and give tips

5-6 p.m. -- Peace Corps Volunteers share about their experiences

Both sessions will have Q&A time and networking is available at the end.
