TrueBlue CIO to speak at Western April 27

Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics will bring Billie Otto to campus for its Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series on Friday, April 27. Otto will make a formal presentation from 3 to 4 p.m. in Communications Facility Room 115. The presentation is free and open to the public.

As senior vice president and CIO of TrueBlue, a providor of blue-collar staffing, Otto oversees and directs the technology strategy and execution for the organization. She also participates in defining the company’s strategic vision and coordinating the vision with the development of information technology systems. Otto is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western and a master's degree in science in taxation from Golden Gate University.

The CBE's Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series program brings senior business leaders to campus to interact with students and share their perspectives on strategic management, leadership, and professional development. The series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Excellence in Management Education.
