PeaceHealth’s Nancy Tieman to speak at Western July 18

Nancy Tieman, regional vice president of strategy, innovation and development for PeaceHealth, will discuss strategy in the healthcare industry as part of Western’s College of Business and Economics Executive Strategy Speaker Series at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 18, in Western’s Parks Hall Room 104.

Tieman received her master’s degree in Business Administration from Western in 2004 and also has a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Northwestern University. She began her healthcare career at PeaceHealth St. Joseph as a medical technologist.

Tieman’s focus is on managing projects, information system implementation, operations and marketing efforts. She has been the administrative director of Northwest Regional Laboratory and the executive director of ComPASS, a local medical billing firm.

The Executive Strategy Speaker Series is sponsored by the Center for Innovation in Education in Western’s College of Business and Economics. One executive with high level executive responsibility for strategy is selected each quarter to speak.
