Next Lunch & Learn: Insights into employee wellness and fighting burnout Dec. 12

The Western Washington University (WWU) Lunch & Learn series is back for another academic year. We will continue to explore content promoting the health and wellbeing of our university people, places, and planet using the Okanagan Charter: An International Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges as our guide. 

 

Get Moving During Your Workday: Faculty & Staff Wellness Program and Office Yoga  

Tuesday, Dec. 12, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, via Zoom 

Taking breaks throughout the day is an important strategy in combating burnout and reducing stress. Darcie Hill will share some ways to get moving on campus with the Faculty & Staff Wellness Program, and Savanah Wainwright will lead us in a session of office yoga to give our bodies a quick reset. 

This series is a collaborative effort from Joyce Lopes, VP for Business & Financial Affairs, Dr. Sislena Ledbetter, Associate VP for Counseling, Health, and Wellbeing, and Faye Gallant, Assistant Vice President for Strategy, Management & Budget.
