Time running out for faculty to order evaluation forms

The deadline for faculty to order course evaluations has passed, but the Registrar's Office is still able to process orders online.

For more information, contact Brittney Lunday in the Registrar’s Office at 360-650-3432 or brittney.lunday@wwu.edu.

Tips from the Registrar's Office for maximizing evaluations:

  • The CRN is critical to accurate scoring and alignment with enrollment records. Reminding your students of the correct CRN when administrating the evaluation is a good practice and then keep CRN’s separated when turning in evaluations. This is the primary cause of most errors.
  • Ask students to use a No. 2 pencil only. Bringing extra pencils is a great way to maximize response rates.
  • Always return your coversheets with completed evaluations. Very helpful in sorting, problem solving and archiving purposes.
  • If you would like multiple classes scanned under the same CRN, such as cross-listed courses, please include a note with the completed course evaluations or contact Brittney. These have to be handled differently.
  • If your class ends prior to the end of the quarter and you need your course evaluations before dead week, please send an email to Brittney at Brittney.Lunday@wwu.edu with the end date of your class, specific form type and CRN. Should your class end early please submit your course evaluation requests ASAP. We’ll do our best to meet your unique deadlines.
  • Each evaluation form provides 4-5 blank response fields that allows you to receive responses for your own questions. The scale is the same (excellent<>very poor) and you’ll need to present the questions on an overhead, board or on paper so students know what question corresponds with what number. When you receive your scan sheets you’ll find the optional question response fields in a box located on the bottom right side of the scan form. Feel free to call if you have any questions about how to use this feature.
