Standout Grad: Josie Bowen

Normally, Josie Bowen is a top shot putter for Toledo High School. But on a rainy day in Raymond this spring, she threw poorly at the the district championship and failed to qualify for state.

Josie was crushed. She had placed sixth in state last year.

“I managed to keep my cool … but I pretty much wanted to sit there and ball my eyes out,” she said.
