Health and Human Development offering online electives this fall

Western's Health and Human Development Department is offering two online courses in the fall to help you stay in shape and earn extra credits. No restrictions or prerequisites.

 

PE 197S – Intro to Health and Wellness

Instructor: Jill MacIntyre Witt

Personal health and wellness with emphasis on creating positive habits and mindset, physical fitness routine, stress management, nutrition and psychological well-being.

 

PE 197U – Yoga for Restoration

Instructor: Liz Clift

A physical movement class designed to introduce three types of gentler yoga: Gentle Flow, Yin and Restorative. This practice focuses on a slower pace to develop a deeper mind-body – breath connection, relieve stress, while increasing strength and flexibility.

 

Electives carry an additional fee of $265 per credit, plus any associated course fees.
