Gov. orders flags lowered to half-staff March 22 in memory of Erin McLyman

Gov. Christine Gregoire has directed that flags at all Washington state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff on Monday, March 22, in memory of U.S. Army Private First Class Erin L. McLyman, who died March 13 of injuries she suffered during a mortar attack in Iraq.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Monday or first thing Tuesday morning, March 23.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
