Flags to be lowered in honor of Orlando attack victims

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation issued on June 12, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has directed that Washington state and U.S. flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff immediately in honor of the victims of the attack in Orlando, Florida.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Thursday, June 16.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
