Coming Together for Sustainability: A Western Sustainability Action Plan Discussion

Join student leaders, staff, and faculty for a discussion of Western’s Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) hosted by the Office of Sustainability at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26.

Established in 2017, the SAP serves as the university’s blueprint to protect local and global ecology, uphold social equity, create economic vitality, and maintain human health. What does sustainability mean to you? How can we successfully implement the goals established in the SAP? What sustainability measures do we prioritize? We’ll discuss these questions, share insights, brainstorm together, and make connections in this community space.

Come prepared to discuss your response to the question: “Something I am already doing that supports a more sustainable WWU is…”

Please invite your friends and colleagues. Sustainability requires everyone’s input.

Please RSVP at  https://forms.gle/gPWGH9jNLo8FWiZg7 and a link to the event will be sent to you.
