Carver construction to continue over break

Construction activities for the week of Dec. 13:

• Remove windows at Gym D; close off west pedestrian path from Dec. 14 to 18. See attached map.
• Continue demolition of 1970s building. Saw cutting will create loud hammering noises.
• Continue forming pile caps. Install, reinforce and place concrete for utilidor (utility tunnel for electrical systems).
• Continue “micro” pile drilling in east section. “Micro” pile drilling is not as loud as “pin” pile driving.

• Pin pile driving which are driven and will also create loud hammering noise.
• Continue forming pile caps & installing, reinforcing & placing concrete for utilidor (utility tunnel for electrical systems).
• Continue “micro” pile drilling in east section. “Micro” pile drilling is not as loud as “pin” pile driving.
