Activist and actress Ashley Judd to keynote Western Washington University’s Back2B’ham Alumni and Friends Weekend May 19-21

Back2B’ham Alumni and Friends Weekend returns May 19-21!

Acclaimed actress and activist Ashley Judd will be the keynote speaker as Western Washington University brings back, after a pandemic hiatus, its Back2B’ham Alumni and Friends Weekend May 19-21 on the WWU campus in Bellingham.

Judd, a three-time Golden-Globe Award nominee, will speak from 6:30-7:45 p.m. on Friday, May 19 in the WWU Performing Arts Center; the event is free and open to the public, but registration is required

Back2B’ham is the university’s major alumni-reunion event of each school year, as well an opportunity for students, employees, alumni, and friends of the university of all ages from across the state to enjoy the campus through a myriad of activities, from tours of the Western Gallery and guided bird watching in the Sehome Arboretum to sea kayaking, bike rides, guest lectures, the Red Square Carnival (bouncy houses, a rock wall, face painting), networking events, the groundbreaking ceremony for Western’s new Kaiser Borsari Hall, and more.
