WWU to Host Keller Williams’ Ben Kinney Nov. 10

Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics will host Keller Williams’ Ben Kinney for its Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10 in Communications Facility 115 on Western's campus.

Kinney owns and operates one of the top 25 producing real estate teams in the nation, as well as multiple Keller Williams Realty Franchises that include 1000+ agents across nine locations. In 2015, he opened his first international brokerage in London, England, with over 30 agents. These offices combined will sell over 7,300 units equaling over $2.7 billion in sales volume.

He created the real estate software companies Brevity and Blossor. In 2015, he founded the Ben Kinney Training Organization and purchased ActiveRain from Zillow.

A nationally recognized trainer and speaker. Ben has personally trained over 100,000 business owners in the last few years via conferences, classes and webinars.

Ben is ranked by the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends as one of the top 100 real estate agents for both total units sold and total sales volume in the nation by selling over 500 homes and $100,000,000 in volume for 2010 – 2015. Sales in 2015 exceeded 700 transactions and $200 million in closed volume.

Inman News named Kinney its 2014 "Innovator of the Year" for his work in real estate and technology, specifically for the creation of Brivity and Blossor.  Inman has also named Ben one of the “100 most influential people in real estate.” Ben Kinney Companies was named to the Inc. 5000 in 2016 for its Tech Divisions and Brokerages.

The WWU College of Business and Economics Strategy Speaker Series program brings senior level business leaders to campus to interact with students and share their perspectives on strategic management, leadership, and professional development.  The Speaker Series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Innovation in Education.
