WWU’s Small Business Development Center to Co-Sponsor Digital Marketing Training Program in Blaine Dec. 6

Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is partnering with the City of Blaine and the Blaine Chamber of Commerce to bring a digital marketing training program to local businesses from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Blaine School District Office at 765 H St.

Attendance is free but space is limited and registration is preferred.

This training program will give attendees insights on what it takes to succeed online, and with a physical location, in a multi-channel and multi-screen world.

There is no doubt that consumer behavior and purchasing decisions are being influenced by the fast changing worlds of social media and technology. There are many areas of opportunity for local businesses to succeed with digital marketing. Area covered will include:

  • Paid Search Marketing (Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, etc.)
  • Mobile Marketing Trends
  • Content Marketing Strategies and Tactics
  • Converting Visitors to Buyers
  • Tracking Your Results

The event will be led by Eric Grimstead, one of the SBDC’s Certified Business Advisors, who is an expert in digital marketing. Grimstead enjoys helping local clients figure out how to maximize their marketing opportunities, increase customer engagement and improve their overall online effectiveness.
