WWU’s Academy for Lifelong Learning Announces Fall Program Preview Event

BELLINGHAM ­– Western Washington University’s Academy for Lifelong Learning (A.L.L.) is hosting a preview event of their fall courses and excursions from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at St. Luke’s Community Health Education Center Meeting Room A, 3333 Squalicum Parkway in Bellingham.

A.L.L.’s offerings are open to all interested adults, regardless of age or educational background.

A.L.L. features academic and cultural programming taught by WWU faculty, faculty emeritus, and experts in various fields and professions. Several of the A.L.L. course instructors will present brief descriptions of upcoming courses, which cover a diverse range of topics, from history to biology to music; “Shakespeare and Music” and “Human Rights in International Law” are among the 29 topics offered.

A.L.L.’s courses range in length from one to six sessions, and A.L.L. excursions offer a full-day experience, including transportation and admission, to a ballet, concert, museum or other unique attraction. Though hosted and administered by Western Washington University, A.L.L. is 100 percent member-driven and supported by membership dues and program fees.
