WWU Once Again Highly Ranked in the Pacific Northwest by U. S. News & World Report’s College Rankings

For the 26th year in a row, Western Washington University is one of the highest-ranking master’s-granting public universities in the Pacific Northwest, according to the 2025 U.S. News & World Report college rankings. 

In the new rankings, WWU placed third in its category of public regional universities in the greater Pacific Northwest. WWU tied for ninth in the list of top public master ’s-granting institutions (also called “regional universities” in their rankings) in the West – a region stretching from Texas to the Pacific, and placed 13th in the West in best colleges for veterans.
