WWU Center for Canadian-American Studies runs student photo contest
Western's Center for Canadian-American Studies is running a student photo contest and is looking for entries by May 3.
The winning photo will be featured on the Center's webpage, and the student will receive a $150 prize and a copy of the book "Bridging the Longest Border," by Don Alper, former director of the Center. A runner-up photo will also be featured on the webpage and receive a copy of Don Alper's book.
Students can send photo submissions (min 1200px wide at 72ppi) to canam@wwu.edu along with an explanation of how they think their photo represents C/AM, by May 3.
The Center for Canadian-American Studies is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is marking the milestone with a series of virtual events throughout the entire year of 2021. Our schedule of events illustrates the breadth of the Center’s academic and non-academic programming, highlighting the passionate work of our faculty, students, sister programs in Canada House, and our partnerships both across campus and in the larger community. All events are free and open to the public.
