WWU Business Students Meet With Executives at Bellingham’s Alpha Technologies

Five outstanding Western Washington University students from the College of Business and Economics received the opportunity to attend a Leadership Lunch and meet with top executives from Bellingham based telecommunications supplier Alpha Technologies, Inc. on Friday, Oct. 23.

The students were given a comprehensive a tour of the company’s facilities and a discussion-filled lunch led by Western Associate Professor of Management Kristi Tyran.

Selection of students was based upon faculty input from each department who considered such criteria as academic achievement, student activities and service.

The students who were selected were Swann Davis of University Place, Robert Dowdle of Bellingham, Daniel Edgel of Republic, Brooke Miles of Anacortes and Nicholas Pattelle of Sultan.

Leadership Lunches are held quarterly and are sponsored by Western’s Center for Innovation in Education.
