WWU Athletics to dedicate home volleyball game tonight to Dwight Clark

Western Washington University Athletics is dedicating its home volleyball match this evening against Montana State Billings to the memory of Dwight Clark. The game takes place in Carver Gymnasium at 7 p.m.

The Athletics Department is encouraging students to wear Dwight’s favorite color, green, throughout the day as well as at the volleyball game. The volleyball team is remembering Dwight by wearing green bands around their ankles, and the cheer squad will be wearing green bows in their hair. There also will be a moment of silence before the national anthem and a seat in the student's section decorated with a green shirt and green balloons in memory of Dwight.

To assist the student body with the grieving process fliers with information about the counseling center on campus will be handed out at the event.
