October is Disability Awareness Month. James Fortney, an assistant professor of Communication Studies, will lead a dialogue at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, about ways to incorporate Disability Studies’ critical examination of the cultural and political production and treatment of disability into the curriculum. Disability Studies is a multidisciplinary field, and faculty from all disciplines are encouraged to attend.
The workshop will take place in the Learning Commons, Wilson Library Room 270.
