Western's Counseling and Wellness Center adds three new staff members
The Counseling and Wellness Center is excited to announce the addition of three members to its clinical team: Jevon Moore, staff therapist and Black Student Support specialist; Holly Weber, staff psychologist; and Kelsey Barnett, staff therapist.
Jevon (he/him) is a full-time therapist and Western’s first dedicated Black Student Support Specialist in the Counseling and Wellness Center. Jevon said he is excited to join the supporters, advocates, and partners already in place who have been working to create an inclusive environment for our students and bring us closer together as a community.
Holly (she/her) is a full-time psychologist providing individual and group therapy as well as outreach programming. Holly said she aims to foster a supportive and nonjudgmental space where students feel heard, empowered, and comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings.
Kelsey (she/her) is a full-time therapist with a background working in community mental health and nonprofit organizations. Kelsey's approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, warm, and creative, valuing multicultural and systemic lenses.
Please join the center in welcoming Jevon, Holly, and Kelsey to its team!
