Western Washington University Announces WeLearn – Learning and Enrichment Resources
Western Washington University has curated an array of learning and enrichment resources to provide educational opportunities and support during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
WeLearn connects people with Western’s extended community through learning opportunities that address professional and personal enrichment needs, and has resources for anyone who wishes to further their personal and professional goals.
Opportunities are categorized by career advancement options, community and alumni engagement, personal support and enrichment, and Western’s digital resources. These offerings are open to all learners and range in scope from free lunchtime yoga flow sessions to online coding bootcamps with scholarship options. “Western recognizes the need for people to connect and support each other during these singular times, and is committed to providing learning opportunities that can make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families,” said Vice Provost for Outreach and Continuing Education, Robert Squires. “Whether it’s a virtual low-tide beach walk, a credential in business management, or sharing stories of diverse lived experiences during the pandemic, Western is here to support the needs and aspirations of our community.”
