Western to kick off transition planning for new one-stop shop for all things procurement and contracts on Dec. 1
Western has begun to plan the implementation of Jaggaer eProcurement (ePro), the new back-end software for Western Marketplace.
Current-state, purchase orders and payment requests are generally processed through eForms and in Western Marketplace. The move to Jaggaer ePro will consolidate most of these processes, including connections with Jaggaer Supplier Management, which is nearing final implementation, and Jaggaer Contracts+, which will be the next implementation, as a replacement for the Contract Management Module (CMM), starting in early 2026.
Jaggaer ePro is the next step in the effort to create a true one-stop shop for all things procurement and contracts, promoting a better, consolidated user experience, and the opportunity for enhanced strategic value through data-connected systems. Procurement and Contract Services is excited about the possibilities ahead for the University with the modernization of procurement and contracting systems.
The planned go-live date for both Jaggaer ePro and Contracts+ is July 1, 2026.
An internal kick-off meeting is scheduled for 1-2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, that is open to all interested parties within the University. Email Gage Loots or Dawn Childs to be invited.
Chief Procurement Officer and project sponsor Gage Loots welcomes the opportunity to present on this project to any interested teams and/or departments at a one-to-one meeting or as a presenter at a team meeting. If interested, please reach out to Gage to coordinate.
