West College Way closed near Rec Center

West College Way between Bill McDonald Parkway and Highland Drive will be closed all hours through July 3 while crews working for the city of Bellingham replace the concrete.

Buses are running, but stops in near the Campus Services Building and the Wade King Student Recreation center have been closed to accommodate the detour.

While the construction is underway, buses will follow this detour route (reverse for buses headed north): Straight on Highland Drive past the water tower and then left onto Knox Avenue. Follow that down to 20th Street and then follow 20th down Taylor Avenue. Turn left onto 21st Street and stop, if necessary at the temporary stop at Bennett Avenue and 21st Street. Turn right onto Bill McDonald Parkway and then proceed to all regular stops. The 14 bus will turn right onto 21st Street and proceed to regular route.

Detour routes are posted along the streets. For more information, contact Bill Dorn, street supervisor, at bdorn@cob.org or 360-778-7900.
