Update on Graduate School dean search

Horacio Walker, chair of the Vice Provost for Research and Dean of the Graduate School Search Committee, is pleased to provide the following information about search activities to date:

The search committee has finalized the position announcement and has published it in a variety of national publication outlets.  The announcement includes a link to the complete job posting.  Applicant screening begins Jan. 6, 2020. 

The search committee is now asking the campus community for assistance. If you know of someone who meets the qualifications for the position, please encourage them to apply. In addition, nominations for the position, including names and contact information, may be sent to either Horacio Walker, search committee chair, or Jennifer Sloan, search coordinator.  Also, members of the campus community are encouraged to post the position on listservs of relevant professional organizations – send the information to either Horacio Walker or Jennifer Sloan for the files.
