Unique Short-Term Winter/Spring Job Opportunity for Students: Fieldwork Research at the Canadian Border
Participate in an international cross-border research project by joining the survey crew for passenger vehicle study with the WWU Border Policy Research Institute! You’ll conduct fieldwork from February to March. You’ll work with a crew of fellow students, enjoy time together outside, and get to know more about the international border between Canada and the US.
Job Description: Employees will work directly with both Canadian and U.S. border inspection officers and will collect data on passenger vehicle flows at the border. A few more details:
- Fieldwork will be conducted over about a month - Wednesdays through Sundays, February to March
- Required paid in-person and online trainings will be completed in January.
