The PEBB Program’s annual open enrollment begins November 1

The Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) Program’s annual open enrollment for 2021 begins Monday, Nov. 1 and ends Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Open enrollment is your opportunity to make changes to your health plan benefits and account. Changes made during annual open enrollment are effective January 1, 2022.

  • What changes can you make? The PEBB Program’s annual open enrollment is your opportunity to change medical and dental plans, add or remove dependents, re-attest to the spouse or state-registered domestic partner premium surcharge, enroll in the Medical Flexible Spending Arrangement FSA, Limited purpose FSA, or Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) through Navia Benefit Solutions, and waive your medical coverage if you are enrolled in other employer-based group medical, a TRICARE plan or Medicare. Learn more about the changes you can make on the HCA website at Open Enrollment (PEBB) and the October For you Benefit newsletter. Also check out the virtual benefits fair offered by PEBB to help make your decisions.
  • How do I make changes? Log into PEBB My Account and submit your changes between November 1 and November 30, 2021. Or, submit a scanned paper form or electronic copy to hr.benefits@wwu.edu. The forms will be available on the HCA website under Forms and publications beginning November 1.
    • Making changes online on your PEBB My Account is preferable to paper forms this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All changes can be made online except for adding new dependents.  Please email HR.Benefits@wwu.edu if you have any questions.

Note: Updates have been made to the PEBB For Your Benefit newsletter that was mailed in early October. Please see the recent updates to the Kaiser Permanente of Washington provider networks that was not addressed in the newsletter
