Technology group to discuss Blackboard improvements, group evaluation tool at March 29 meeting

The Learning Technology Group at Western Washington University will discuss a new tool for facilitating peer evaluations at its regular meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Viking Union Room 567.

Justina Brown will demonstrate the free, web-based peer evaluation tool. Developed by an interdisciplinary team through an NSF grant and hosted at Purdue University, the “Comprehensive Assessment of Team Member Effectiveness” tool gathers evaluation data to assess how effectively each member of a team contributes to the whole; it also gives feedback to team members and to the person administering the teams.

Also, the ATUS Web Services Blackboard Support team will discuss stability improvements for Blackboard planned for this quarter.
