Sustainable Lab Certification program launch party set for May 7

Join us for the launch party of the Sustainable Lab Certification Program! This program is designed to recognize and reward labs that are committed to operating in a sustainable manner. Learn more about the program and how your lab can get involved. There will be free food and drinks, as well as opportunities to network with other researchers and staff. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 7 from 4 to 5 pm in the Miller Hall Collaboration Space. Please contact alyssa.tsukada@wwu.edu with any questions.

Are you or someone you know working in a research lab on campus? Join us at our Launch Party for the newly created Sustainable Lab Certification program on Tuesday, May 7 from 4:-5:30 p.m. in the Miller Hall Collaboration Space.

This program is student-led and funded by the Sustainability, Equity, and Justice Fund (SEJF).

This event will be a great opportunity to learn more about the Sustainable Lab program and connect with labs dedicated to improving campus sustainability! The event will feature a presentation about the program's creation from its student leads, along with awarding certificates to labs that have successfully completed the certification.

Food and drinks will be provided.
