Sustainability Engagement Institute's grant showcase set for May 7

WWU's Sustainability Engagement Institute will host its annual showcase to celebrate the impact that its grant projects have made on our campus in the past year. The event will be held this Wednesday, May 7, from 4-6 p.m. in the Miller Hall Collaborative Space (MH102). There will be informal presentations starting around 4:20-4:30 p.m. but come whenever you can, and stay as long as you'd like. Light refreshments will be offered.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you have interacted with the SEJF program in the past.

The Sustainability, Equity, and Justice Fund (SEJF) promotes sustainability by providing grants to create and implement projects that positively impact environmental, social, well-being, and economic practices on our campus and in our community. It is a student-fee funded program, designed primarily to uplift student-centered initiatives at WWU. Last year we saw over $400,000 awarded for sustainability projects on campus, and this year we have already approved $60,000+ in grant awards!
