Summer 'Web Development Bootcamp' info session to be held May 16

The Computer Science Department and Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) will offer a Web Development Bootcamp this summer, with a substantial discount for participating Western staff. The program is comprised of three courses that develop knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React. The program will help participants understand full-stack web development, including using MongoDB, structuring a backend with NodeJS, and connecting backend to frontend React web applications. No prior experience is necessary.

There will be a tabling event in the entrance area of the Viking Union on Thursday, May 16 from noon to 2 p.m. During the event, you will have the opportunity to discuss the curriculum and learning experience with faculty and PCE staff.

If you have any questions, please reach out to WWU Associate Professor of Computer Science Quiang Hao (qiang.hao@wwu.edu), or Keith Kelley (kelleyk8@wwu.edu), director of Professional and Continuing Education.
