WWU students facilitate courses and drive the availability of programs offered. We are working to bring back the Occupational English programs, expand the French program and introduce new courses you have asked for, such as American Sign Language.
If your department is interested in a multilingual outreach program, please E-mail with your request. We may be able to create a custom program to fit the language needs of your office.

The WWU Employee Language Program is an initiative put forth by the Office of the President to support Western faculty and staff through professional development and to encourage multicultural outreach and awareness. The workshops are the result of a combined effort by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, and Outreach and Continuing Education.
