Reminder to employees and student employees to complete annual hazing prevention training

This is a reminder to employees and student employees to complete annual hazing prevention training as required by University Policy and Washington state law (estimated to take 20-25 minutes to complete).

Almost two thirds of employees and student employees have already completed this requirement -- thank you for staying on top of this important compliance requirement.

This training requirement is considered past due after 45 days. If training remains incomplete, supervisors will receive a monthly report on the first Thursday of the month outlining anyone who is past-due (e.g., for existing employees who were assigned in early October and have not yet completed their hazing prevention training renewal, a notification will be sent to the relevant supervisor on Dec. 7). Supervisors are encouraged to work with employees to get the trainings completed in a timely manner.

Employees still needing to complete the online training can do so by signing in to the online learning platform (requires WWU login).

Please refer to the CRTC Training Overview webpage for additional information about the hazing prevention training, other required trainings, and related FAQs.
