Gallery exhibit features photos from random strangers

The "An Experiment" exhibit, which opened Jan. 9, is a collection of photographs from strangers. Seventeen people were contacted outside the Wade King Student Recreation Center, handed cameras and told to shoot.

Not all of the participants are students; one of the artists is 4, another 6.

The resulting collection of images is on display through Jan. 20 in the Viking Union Gallery on campus.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A closing reception will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19.
