'Peace Corps Story Slam' set for May 14

Interested in learning more about the Peace Corps? If so, you're at the right school, as WWU was recently ranked #1 all-time for total number of Peace Corps volunteers!

WWU's Institute for Global Engagement and Peace Corps office will host a Peace Corps Story Slam from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 in Miller Hall 138. Returned Peace Corps volunteers from Morocco, Niger and Dominica will share their stories about serving in those countries, and answer any questions by those interested in the Peace Corps application process or about what it is like to serve as a volunteer.

Pizza will be served!

Are you a faculty or staffer on campus who served in the Peace Corps? If so, reach out to WWU Peace Corps recruiter Jerry Smith at smithg42@wwu.edu! The WWU Peace Corps office is trying to build an accurate campus database of those who have served and want to hear about your experience!
