Palestinian filmmaker Dina Amin coming to campus Jan. 25

The WWU campus community is invited to an insightful cinematic exploration with Palestinian filmmaker and vocalist Dina Amin from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25 in Academic West 210.

This presentation is free and open to the public.

Amin will screen a collection of thought-provoking short documentaries and a music video at this presentation, and then connect with the audience through a Q&A session. The goal of Amin's presentation is to capture the essence of Palestinian culture, resilience, artistic creativity, and spirit of change.

Amin is an award-winning and multi-talented artist who wants to tell inspiring stories on social and humanitarian issues. She is a co-founder of Space Collective, an art house based in Ramallah, Palestine, which works to build a stronger community in film and music.
