Office of Sustainability to screen 'Planetary' April 23

In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), the Office of Sustainability is hosting a viewing of the documentary, PLANETARY, followed by refreshments and dialogue on Tuesday, April 23 from 5-8 p.m.

“PLANETARY is a provocative and breathtaking wakeup call, a cross continental, cinematic journey, that explores our cosmic origins and our future as a species. Planetary asks us to rethink who we really are, to reconsider our relationship with ourselves, each other and the world around us – to remember that: we are Planetary.” – The Planetary Collective

This film features: Alan Senauke, Ali Smith, Anam Thubten, Angel Kyodo Williams, Barry Lopez, Becca Tarnas, Bill McKibben, Brian Swimme, Charles Eisenstein, David Loy, Drew Dellinger, Elizabeth Lindsey, Ethan Nichtern, His Holiness 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Janine Benyus, Joan Halifax, Joanna Macy, Lawrence Ellis, Luntana Nakoggi, Dr. Mae Jemison, Mary Evelyn Tucker, Mona Polacca, Paul Hawken, Peter Russell, Ron Garan, Sam Mickey, Sean Kelly, Sobonfu Some, Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Wade Davis, and Wes Nisker.

Join us for an evening celebration of Earth Day as we explore our connection to this beautiful planet and each other. PLANETARY will be viewed in Miller Hall 138, starting at 5:00 p.m.

Refreshments (gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options) and dialogue will be held in Miller Hall Collaborative Space at 6:30 p.m.
