Nominations open for the Student Civic Leadership Awards

In partnership with the Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good, nominations are currently open for the Student Civic Leadership Awards, and are due by Jan. 3, 2025.

WWU students, either undergraduate or graduate students, are eligible as long as they are doing civic engagement work or social entrepreneurship. Any WWU faculty or staff member can nominate a student.

Two students will be selected from each partner campus of the Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good, of which WWU is a member.

The two selected WWU students will be submitted for the Statewide/Governor's Student Civic Leadership Awards. Financial awards for the Governor's awards are: $500 stipend to each runner up and $1,000 stipend to each winner of the State-Wide Governor's Student Civic Leadership Award.

More information and the link to nominate a student are available on the Student Civic Leadership Awards page on the President's webpage.
