Nominations for Nakama Award due July 26

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2013 Nakama Award, presented annually to a staff member in the Division of Enrollment and Student Services at Western Washington University for outstanding contributions to the mission and goals of the division.
All permanent employees in the division, including classified staff and exempt professional staff, are eligible for the award. Nominees must have worked in the division a minimum of three years. Nominations are accepted from any division staff member.
To be eligible, nominees must:
- Demonstrate outstanding commitment to the development or support of students
- Create or significantly contribute to initiatives which promote student success
- Strengthen the Division’s work within the University and larger community
- Provide dedicated and consistently excellent service to students and/or the Division
To nominate, complete the attached form in full, using as much space as necessary, and submit it by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 26, to Sara Wilson by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by campus mail to MS 9001, in person at Old Main 445, or via fax at 360-650-4332.
