Next Queer Safe Zone training is Dec. 5

Interested in serving as a Safe Zone ally for queer students, staff and faculty at Western Washington University?

The next training session is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, on Western's Bellingham campus.

Seats are limited. Those who want to attend may register by visiting this website. The Safe Zone Program is a visible network of volunteers who are committed to creating a community of respect and dignity for students, staff, and faculty who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning. Safe Zone makes it possible to easily identify allies at Western who are committed to creating an environment in which all people are free to thrive academically, professionally and personally.
