New FAFSA Open Now: File before the Feb. 28 Priority Filing Date

DID YOU KNOW? The new and simplified Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open for 2024-2025. Because the Department of Education has opened the FAFSA later this year, WWU has extended our priority filing deadline. Please be sure to submit your 2024-2025 FAFSA on studentaid.gov by Feb. 28. The new and simplified FAFSA means fewer questions for students and their families. If you need assistance, join the WWU Financial Aid Department for FAFSA Fridays Jan. 12 through Feb. 23. For students not eligible to complete the FAFSA form, the updated 2024-25 WASFA is now available.
