LGBTQ+ Western website goes live at lgbtq.wwu.edu

The LGBTQ+ Western website is now live at https://lgbtq.wwu.edu.  Created by the LGBTQ+ Director, with excellent assistance from Web Tech and University Communications, the site serves as an empowering hub of information for students, faculty, and staff across Western.

The website provides information about on and off-campus resources for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff, learning opportunities and written resources for the Western community, and upcoming events.  As the new year begins, faculty can refer to the website for suggested information to include in syllabi.

Upcoming LGBTQ+ Western events include an International Pronouns Day Lunch & Learn on October 17, and listening sessions for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff to be held in October and November.  Event details are at https://lgbtq.wwu.edu.

LGBTQ+ Western works to advance the holistic thriving of diverse LGBTQ+ students, faculty and staff at Western Washington University by collaboratively engaging the university community with transformational knowledge, resources, advocacy and celebration.  You can reach the LGBTQ+ Director, L.K. Langley, at (360) 650-7500 or L.K.Langley@wwu.edu.  Langley’s Fall quarter office hours are posted on the website.
