LGBTQ+ Western to host Advocacy Council meetings for faculty and staff

The next LGBTQ+ Advocacy Council meeting is Thursday, February 20 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. on Zoom. This employee resource group centers LGBTQ+ employees and is open for all faculty and staff, including allies. This group provides peer support, identifies issues facing faculty and staff and Western, and advocates for the holistic wellbeing and thriving of LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students. 

This program is currently facilitated by LGBTQ+ Western Director JoeHahn. Email questions and accommodation requests to lgbtq@wwu.edu. The meetings will repeat every third Thursday of the month from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

This week we will be providing an update on LGBTQ+ related legislation and identify priority areas for the council for 2025.
