'Legally Blonde' runs through Dec. 6
A fabulously fun international award-winning musical based on the adored movie, "Legally Blonde: The Musical" follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
The action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming, this musical is so much fun it should be illegal!
The play opened on Dec. 2 on the Performing Arts Center mainstage.
Directed by WWU's Jim Lortz, the play features music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach. It's based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture.

Synopsis: Elle Woods can handle anything. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her she decides to follow him to Harvard Law School and win him back. With some help from new-found friends Paulette, Emmett and her chihuahua Bruiser, she discovers how the law can be used to help others, and uses her new found skills to defend a workout-queen in a murder trial, defying the odds and proving that pink can save the day!
