WWU women’s rowing sweeps podium to clinch GNAC title

Western Washington University women’s rowing team clinched the Great Northwest Athletic Conference title with a perfect team score of 30 after winning both Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ races Saturday, May 16 at Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.

The No. 1 nationally ranked Vikings netted their third GNAC title in the six-year history of the event, and became the second champion to record a perfect team score; Central Oklahoma was the other one during the inaugural championship in 2021.
