WWU Spotlight: Coach Damien Fisher

Until last year, Damien Fisher’s summer job consisted of throwing heavy objects, sometimes while wearing a kilt.

The Western Washington University head strength and conditioning coach is a two-time national champion competitor in the Highland Games, the Scottish festival featuring feats of strength by competitors in kilts, with bagpipes a prominent part of the show.
