WWU board approves student transportation fee
Western Washington University's board of trustees approved the continuation next year of the student transportation fee, which pays for bus passes for students and for late-night shuttle service.
Student voters in April voted 84 percent in favor of a five-year extension of the $25-per-term fee. Each year, the board of trustees is charged with deciding on fees for the following academic year, including the transportation fee. The board on Friday, June 8, unanimously approved the fee.
